The school says the endowments will be utilized to bolster the college’s police office.

Officer Collin Rose was shot in the head Tuesday while researching conceivable burglaries of route frameworks from vehicles close to the Wayne State grounds on Detroit’s west side.

The suspect, DeAngelo Davis, was captured that night and summoned Friday on first-degree kill, murder of a cop and weapon charges.

A judge requested the 31-year-old Davis imprisoned without bond. His next hearing is set for Dec. 9.

Wayne State Police Boss Anthony Holt says he’s soothed Davis is imprisoned and off the road.

DeAngelo Davis was charged Friday in Romulus Region Court and requested imprisoned. Davis is accused of first-degree kill, murder of a cop and weapon violations.

The Wayne Area prosecutor’s office says he doesn’t yet have a legal counselor.

Davis will show up in court Friday. Authorities have not said if an attorney has been delegated to talk in the interest of Davis.
